This is my unvarnished tribute to Jeremy Ford, my first pastel teacher. He taught me to wear my hand out rubbing the pastel into pastelmat paper to get that smooth look to the sky. This painting is my attempt to copy one from his book. I can tell you it was not easy. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, they tell me. Thank you, Jeremy.
