Her Birthday
This portrait is of a little girl I have never met whose life got turned upside down when she was diagnosed with cancer. This is based upon a photograph taken at her fourth birthday party by my daughter. For her, every birthday is precious. Now in remission from cancer, this little girl has become a world class artist herself. Pastel on pastelmat paper.
