On Goolsby Pool in the Hill Country of Texas lives two musician friends of mine. This photo taken by Lindy Hearne shows a most tranquil little lake and Lynn, his wife, sitting with what I assume is a grandson on the edge of the “pool’ probably just watching for fish, but he seems to have a pole. Thus, the title “Gone Fishin’”. It is idyllic. And in these times, tranquil and idyllic are hard to come by. Captured on Lux Archival paper, with Terry Ludwig, Unison, Pastel pencil and pan pastel.
