Turnoff Home

Okay this started as a watercolor on watercolor paper, but I didn’t get quite what I wanted in the watercolor (due to my lack of experience I am certain), so once it was to a certain point, I simply put Atelier clear color fix on the paper and then used panpastels to complete it. The rough texture forced me to be more impressionistic than realistic. When it was all done, I thought, “That was cool.” Not sure there will be others.
