Send in the Clowns

I always have these little dolls and toys sitting in cabinets, shelves and windows, and I constantly wonder why I don’t just put them away. I remember where and when and why I got them, and with whom, so I guess I enjoy the memories. But I think truly I have them there as a test of my memory. I’ll know when I start forgetting where I got them and with whom that that will tell me something I need to know. Only recently did she acquire the tears. This is done on Pastelmat with a variety of soft pastels and a little pastel pencil.
