Texas Madonna
My sister says she cannot any longer smile due to some changes in her face. This painting from an old picture (probably 50 years ago) demonstrates that she at one time had a beautiful smile—this one after the birth of her son. She is about to become a great grandmother and I thought it worth reminding her of this glorious day and her beautiful smile. Pastelmat, panpastel, pencil and Terry Ludwig soft pastels.
